Blood Glucose Monitoring (Available at all locations)

We can help with all aspects of blood glucose monitoring. We can carry out in-pharmacy checks or set you up with your own glucometer for home management.

Our specially trained team can assist you with your Compression Garments.  We will accurately measure and fit your garments to ensure the best fit and support.  Ask our friendly team for more details.

Medicines can be confusing. Our pharmacists are experts in medicines advice, especially when it is a new medicine. We can help get you started with your medicines and even if you've been on them for a while - we'll provide you with printed medicines information - best of all it's FREE!

Consumer Medicines Information (Available at all locations)

When you can't breathe - nothing else matters. We want to give you an insight to your lungs with our pharmacist COPD screening program. Our pharmacists will quickly have you perform a breathing test. The resulting score means you will know if you're at risk of COPD. Walk in anytime!

Sit down one on one with our pharmacist, Julianna to review your medicines.  In conjunction with your GP, Julianna can help you understand your medicines better and address any problem areas. Do you suffer from Asthma or COPD? Want to breathe with ease? Talk to us about your Asthma or COPD medicines. Our pharmacists are experts in how to use inhalers and other asthma and COPD medicines. Often, the slightest improvement in your technique can make big differences in your Asthma & COPD control!

Inhaler Technique Assistance (Available at all locations)

Our store offers an excellent range of medical equipment aimed at mobility and home help, depending on your needs. Crutches (in different styles and different heights), walkers, shower chairs, and over-toilet chairs are some of the products we have available. Bulky items will need to be ordered in for you from our wholesaler generally for overnight delivery.  Please speak to our team to find out more.

The MedsCheck is an essential medicines review for all patients. Your pharmacist will meet with you to discuss your medicines and answer any questions you may have. Following your MedsCheck, you, our pharmacist and your doctor can develop the best medicine strategy to help you get the best result from your treatment.  If, after performing your MedsCheck, our pharmacists believe you would benefit from a home medicine review, we will work with you and your GP to arrange for a referral.

Our pharmacists and team are on hand to offer you mental health support when you might need it most. We have plenty of resources available to ensure you receive the correct support.

We are a National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS) Access Point.  We can provide subsidised needles, pump consumables and blood testing strips on your NDSS membership.

Our Pharmacy participates in the Needle & Syringe program which allows our patients to return their used Needles, Syringes and Lancets to us for safe disposal.

If you're on the road to recovery - we're here to help you. We offer replacement therapies such as methadone alongside oral film options as well. We work closely with your medical practitioner and offer a discreet, compassionate service.

Opioid Substitution Program (Available at all locations)

Our comprehensive Pain Management Plan will assess your type and frequency of pain in order to find the best solution for you.

Pain Management Consultation (Available at all locations)

A wide vaccines can be administered by our specially trained pharmacists.  Vaccines that can be administered by our team (for patients over the age of 16 years) include:  Diptheria, Tetnus, MMR (Measles, Mumps & Rubella), Cholera, Hepatitis A, Meningococcal, Polio, Pneumococcal.  Influenza vaccines can be administered to patients 10 years of age and over.  If you require any of the above vaccines please call our teams to ensure that we have the required vaccine in store for you.

Our pharmacists are on hand to assist you with your quit smoking attempt. To effectively manage the cravings, we’ll help you choose the products that are right for you. As well as providing expert advice and support, we’ll help create a personalised quit smoking plan you can stick to.

Storage of expired and unwanted medicines in the home can lead to environmental damage.  There is a free and convenient way to dispose of your unwanted medicines responsibly via your local pharmacy, and it's called Return Unwanted Medicines (or The RUM Project).

Running out of time? Why don’t you try our no wait prescription service? Leave your prescription with us and we will file it accurately and safely. And when you are due to have your prescription filled simply call us and we will prepare it for you before you come into the pharmacy.  We will also keep a comprehensive record of all your medications dispensed by our pharmacy, allowing for complete reporting for PBS Safety Net totals and end of financial year tax records to be generated without any hassles.

Scripts on File and Reorder Service (Available at all locations)

Some patients need to have their medicines supplied to them in installments.  The Pharmacy For Life stores can arrange this with your doctor to ensure you receive your medicines in either daily or weekly installments.

Staged Supply (Available at all locations)

Our pharmacist team is able to assist you with statutory declarations and certifying copies of official documents.

Do you need help organising your medicines? Often when you're on a few medicines it can be confusing and difficult to take them at the right time every day. A Medspro Websterpak or Sachet is a convenient way of taking medicines.

We can help with your weight journey with the right medical advice and a range of options to assist you achieve your goals. Do you have a first aid kit at home and in the car? Do you have a wound which is taking a long time to heal? Are you concerned by a wound you or a family member has? Do you have a wound which requires special dressing? Are you unsure about how to properly manage a burn? Are you about to travel, or do you frequently travel? There are many ways to help manage a wound. Our team are able to determine the correct wound care products for you. We can also determine whether your wound requires some specialist management techniques.
